Afto exists because peer-to-peer car sharing works best when hosts trust the marketplace and guests trust the price. The product is built around published fees, visible quote math, opt-in host controls, and decisions that cite the policy being enforced.
Hosts should not need a spreadsheet to understand what they keep. Guests should not learn the real total on the last screen. Claims should not feel like a black box. We designed Afto around those moments because they decide whether a marketplace feels worth using twice.
Afto is operated by Rent Cars LA LLC in California. Guests can search and book on the website, then manage trips and messages from their account. Hosts use the web workspace to manage vehicles, trip activity, earnings, messages, and claims.
