Offering Airport Delivery as a Host

Set up an airport or other delivery location at the fleet level, then tune the copied offer for each vehicle.

Prelaunch: Listings remain private and cannot accept bookings yet. Delivery locations and fees can be prepared for launch.

Configure the location

  1. Open the host fleet's Location settings.
  2. Create or apply the delivery location to the vehicle.
  3. Open the vehicle's Delivery section.
  4. Set the location name and Delivery fee.
  5. Choose In-person handoff, Lockbox, Remote unlock, or Other coordinated access.
  6. Add delivery instructions of up to 1,500 characters.
  7. Turn on Offer this location and save.

The current vehicle editor does not have a free-delivery-threshold field. Do not promise automatic free delivery based on trip length unless that offer is explicitly present in the guest's quote.

What the guest sees

When live booking opens, an active delivery location can appear as a pickup option. Its fee is included in the itemized quote and booking snapshot rather than added informally at handoff.

Write useful instructions

Include the actual lot, terminal area, shuttle, parking responsibility, key method, and return procedure that apply. Use in-app messages or a consented in-app voice call for trip-specific coordination so the communication remains connected to the trip.

Follow airport rules

Airport pickup rules, permits, staging areas, and commercial-use restrictions vary by airport. Confirm the airport authority's current requirements before offering a location. Afto's delivery setting does not grant an airport permit.

Complete the normal handoff

Delivery does not skip check-in or checkout. The mobile app provides the fuller guided inspection; host web provides the corresponding handoff confirmation. See Host Check-In: How To.
